The Solar-Tel Team

Founder : The visionary behind Solar-Tel traces back to a transformative moment at a picturesque beachfront restaurant in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. Frustrated by a drained phone battery amidst the idyllic setting, the founder experienced a spark of insight: why not harness the sun’s energy to sustainably charge mobile devices? This epiphany ignited an 18-month journey of research and development, culminating in a solar protective case with continuous wireless trickle charging capabilities, earning “Patent Pending” status in late 2023. With a diverse background spanning 11 years in renewable energy, including solar, biogas, and ethanol, the founder brings a wealth of experience to Solar-Tel.

Co-founder : Complementing the founder’s vision, the co-founder of Solar-Tel brings a robust background in sales and marketing, coupled with a business degree from the University of Notre Dame. With multi-year experience in advertising and managing radio stations across the mid-west, the co-founder adds strategic insight and marketing acumen to the team. As an independent entrepreneur with ownership of several businesses, the co-founder’s expertise contributes significantly to Solar-Tel’s growth trajectory.

Associate Founder : The Associate Founder of Solar-Tel boasts a rich history in the Fleet services business since 1987. With a college degree in Automotive/Diesel/Business, his skills encompass a wide array of technical expertise, including Software Troubleshooting, Computer
Networking, and Equipment Repair. His experience as a Technician, Fleet Maintenance Manager and Owner of an independent Fleet Maintenance Corporation equips Solar-Tel with invaluable insights into logistics, negotiation, and supply chain management. His proficiency in upselling and customer service augments Solar-Tel’s commitment to excellence.

Market Opportunity : Solar-Tel enters a thriving market with over 300 million protective cellular phone cases sold globally every 90 days. In the United States alone, annual purchases of 90 million cases contribute approximately $4.25 billion to the accessories market. With the U.S. market projected to reach 181.6 million cellular phone protective cases by 2026, Solar-Tel is poised to capture a significant share of this expanding market, fueled by innovation and sustainability.

In summary, Solar-Tel’s management team blends entrepreneurial vision, technical expertise, and strategic marketing prowess to revolutionize the mobile accessories industry with sustainable solar charging solutions. With a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, Solar-Tel is poised to shape the future of mobile technology.
